Ad Submission Process

Our ad submission process has been created in order to ensure that campaigns begin on time and are executed as seamlessly as possible.

  • Send consolidated files to Online Ad Operations at rmionlinecreative@rci.rogers.com and your Account Manager at least 3 business days prior to campaign launch for standard ad creative and at least 5 business days prior to campaign launch for rich media format ad creative.
  • The email subject line should state the advertiser name, campaign name and contract number found at the top right of your signed Insertion Order.
  • If standard format ad creative is being submitted, ensure that you include all creative files and the destination URL for each ad unit.

 

Creative Naming

All creative files must be named using the following format:

Naming Convention - Ad Creative

language_size_client_campaign_creative version
Example: en_300x250_gm_cadillac_c01.swf

Naming Convention - Ad Tags

language_size_client_campaign_tag version
Example: en_300x250_gm_cadillac_t01.txt

The c01 or t01 at the end of either an ad creative or ad tag, stands for "creative version one" or "tag version one". Any time ad creative is revised and resent, the version should be changed to c02, c03, etc., to ensure the correct ad is trafficked.

 

Design Guidelines

We gladly accept flash files (.swf) directly from advertisers for standard ad creative. The flash files must be 40k max and clickable throughout the entire animation.

Rich media flash creative must be provided by an approved 3rd party vendor.
